Senior Carrier Sales Representative

Experienced Freight Brokerage Professionals | Base Salary + Commission

Location: Fort Lauderdale Office

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $60,000 base salary + commission

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Carrier Sales Representative to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. In this role, you’ll help grow our carrier network, manage high-volume customer freight, and contribute to the success of our Carrier Sales team.

You’ll have the opportunity to build strong carrier relationships, negotiate competitive rates, and independently manage shipments from pickup through delivery. We’re looking for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of freight brokerage and takes pride in delivering reliable service.

This is also an opportunity to share your experience, support newer team members, and help strengthen our team's overall performance.

What You'll Do

• Book and manage carriers for high-volume customer freight.
• Develop and maintain reliable carrier relationships across multiple lanes.
• Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service expectations.
• Independently track and manage loads from pickup through delivery.
• Proactively address service issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed load information in our internal systems.
• Share market insights and carrier strategies with the team.
• Assist in mentoring and supporting entry-level team members.
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled.
• Work closely with the Carrier Sales Manager and the rest of the team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in freight brokerage or carrier sales.
• Ability to manage multiple loads and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and an understanding of market conditions.
• Established carrier relationships or the ability to quickly build a reliable network.
• Experience handling high-volume freight and time-sensitive shipments.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and accountability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A team-focused mindset with the ability to support and guide others.

Preferred Experience

• An existing book of business or established carrier network.
• Experience training or supporting junior team members.
• A consistent track record of securing capacity and delivering reliable service.
