Pepsi Bottling Venturesis seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join our team.

We make sell and distribute PepsiCo and other beverages. We do business in five states and sell PepsiCo beverages to most of the market in our geographic regions. We also develop our own line of beverages producing and distributing a growing product line nationally.

Payroll Supervisor Overview

Supervises the preparation and distribution of the payroll and payroll specialists.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Interprets company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
• Ensures timely and accurate processing of payroll for all locations and employees.
• Supervises work of payroll specialists and provides coverage during absences.
• Oversees payroll-related 401(k) activities ensuring accurate deductions remittances and reporting.
• Provides back-up coverage in the absence of the department manager.
• Oversees special projects as directed by the department manager.
• Assumes responsibility for the compilation and preparation of payroll-related data wires pay cards and transmittals including wage payments taxes garnishments 401(k) HSA etc.
• Administers Workday time tracking and absence management and DCS/ZK technology including maintenance of time entry codes accruals integrations time clocks and manager assistance and training.

Required Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Seven (7) years of payroll experience are required.
• Must be proficient in Workday Workday Report Writing and Microsoft Excel.
• Supervisory or team experience preferred.
• Must have strong ability to direct and motivate staff.
• Must have communication and analytical skills.
• Must enjoy interacting and working with people.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
